Big Time Cleaning Day! (with some bread)

I was so proud of myself today for actually making some homemade bread.  I mean I have made bread before and it makes my house smell all yummy and the family eats it and all but today I was insanely busy cleaning and everything, trying to get the house ready for an apprasial Friday afternoon.  So amid all of that I still had the fore thought to actually make bread.  It made my house smell really yummy and it really wasn't that hard to make.  It turned out so nice, I decided to make french toast for dinner and to use the bread I made to make it (we were having breakfast for dinner tonight anyway and instead of eggs and pancakes I made french toast).  The french toast turned out great, my family loved it, my kids told me how great a cook I was that I made french toast with homemade bread that by it's self tasted good, and in french toast mode was AWSOME!  The only problem lay with the fact that I made as much as I typically do for our family of 7, but I wasn't taking in to count for the fact that homemade bread is more filling and all and that the slices I sliced are thicker since I don't have an automatic slicer thingy like they use at bakery's.  So everyone ate there fill and then were done, and cleared their plates off the table and when I got up to put the syrup away before taking my oldest daughter to church I noticed it.  We had a lot left over!  Guess what the kids are having for breakfast for the next few days?  It could have been worse!
